What is Somatic Experiencing?
Somatic Experiencing® is a naturalistic, neurobiological, body-oriented approach to healing trauma and other stress-related disorders. It restores the authentic self by letting the body and mind slow down and notice its sensations.
Somatic tools help us develop a deeper connection to our wisdom by practicing self-regulation techniques, body awareness, self-compassion, and self-attunement. From this more embodied place, we can create the lasting change we seek.
Trauma is a fact of life, but it does not have to be a life sentence. I would be honored to support you on your journey of self-discovery.
